Metabolic Health Initiative Terms and Conditions

1. Terms

This site is operated by Metabolic Health Initiative, an organization that hosts the annual conference, Metabolic Health Summit. By accessing the website at https://metabolichealthsummit.com, you are agreeing to be bound by Metabolic Health Initiative’s terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

  • Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Metabolic Health Initiative's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

    1. modify or copy the materials;

    2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

  3. By interacting with this site, you understand that the material, content, and videos provided are for educational purposes only and should not be considered nutritional and/or medical advice. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Metabolic Health Initiative of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

7. Refund policy

Tickets or content purchased in relation to Metabolic Health Summit and/or through Metabolic Health Initiative are non-refundable. We do not accept refunds except for extenuating circumstances determined on a case by case basis.

8. Arbitration

If any dispute, claim or controversy arises out of or relating to these terms of service or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement, the parties will try in good faith to settle it through mediation conducted by a mediator in Los Angeles County, California to be mutually selected. The parties will share the costs of the mediator equally. Each party will cooperate fully and fairly with the mediator and will attempt to reach a mutually satisfactory compromise to the dispute. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after mediation is complete, it will be arbitrated by one arbitrator to be mutually selected in Los Angeles County, California. Judgment on the Award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. This clause shall not preclude parties from seeking provisional remedies in aid of arbitration from a court of appropriate jurisdiction.

9. Modifications

Metabolic Health Initiative may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

10. Severability

If any clause, or portion of a clause, in this Agreement is considered invalid under the rule of law, it shall be regarded as stricken while the remainder of this Agreement shall continue to be in full effect.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County, and laws of the State of California, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
